According to the latest forecasts, parts of the UK could be as hot as Greece during the Easter holidays.

The Met Office shows temperatures claiming 16C in Kent on Thursday, with WXCharts showing the mercury could even peak at 18C. That would put it on par with the Greek town of Larissa.

Bristol will miss the hottest weather, but temperatures are expected to hit 18C on Thursday. The Met Office is forecasting sunny weather today after ‘freezing’ temperatures in the South West this morning.

Bristol is expected to experience temperatures of up to 13C this afternoon from 2-4pm. The Met Office forecast for the day suggests it should be a pleasant Sunday afternoon and says we can expect ‘sunny intervals changing to clouds in the late morning’.

And its forecast for the entire South West region today read: “After a frosty start, Sunday will be a dry day with the best of sunshine throughout the morning. More clouds will roll in from the west in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 14°C.”

The BBC is also predicting a day of sunny spells and gentle breezes, although it warns this could be followed by rain on Monday. But his Sunday forecast for the South West is great to read and says it “should be another dry day with lots of sunshine.

“There will be patchy cloud cover later in the afternoon, but it should stay dry for the most part.”
