Derby-based donut company Project D is looking for donut tasters to sample its range of products. Successful applicants will receive a free box of donuts from the award-winning confectioners for an entire month.
Project D receives applications from across the country and seeks feedback on the quality, selection, taste and toppings of its products. The Spondon-based company hopes the feedback will help them stay on top of their game.
The company, which was founded by three friends in 2018, makes handmade donuts which are then shipped across the UK. Last year, Project D won a Derby Food and Drink Award for Most Innovative Company.

It offers a wide array of flavors to choose from, including a Jammie Dodger, Biscoff, Red Velvet, and “Homer” flavored donut.
Project D also offers a range of limited-edition Mother’s Day and Easter treats on its website, including a heart-shaped and vegan I DONUT KNOW WHAT I’D DO WITHOUT YOU box as well as a chocolate donut and with nuggets topped with a whole egg with cream.
Since announcing it was looking for product tasters on Thursday (March 17), Project D’s website has been so inundated with applications that it crashed, according to a comment left by Project D on its Facebook page.
Applications are still open and can be submitted by visiting Project D website.
