Many fans know Lee Brice as the hit country singer-songwriter who has enjoyed consistent success in the genre since releasing his major label debut album in 2010. He released songs that brought laughs and tears country fans and delivered tracks with passion. behind his distinct and powerful voice.

1. He is originally from Sumter, South Carolina.

Born Kenneth Mobley Brice, Jr. on June 10, 1979, the country star fell in love with music at an early age. He started singing in church and started playing the piano when he was only seven years old. At the age of ten, Brice already started playing the guitar and even wrote his own songs, partly under the influence of his father’s favorite country bands, the Oak Ridge Boys and Alabama.

2. He went to Clemson University on a football scholarship.

Six-foot-three Lee Brice joined the Clemson University football team in 1998 and earned a scholarship as a long snapper. However, a freak injury that resulted in difficulty straightening his right arm forced him to undergo surgery and sent him off the pitch for good.

3. He is the father of three children.

In 2013, Brice married longtime girlfriend Sara Nanette Reeveley — and their romance is one for the books. His brother Lewis Brice shot to fame when he joined the first season of Country Music Television’s can you duet. Since then, he has released more than fifteen songs.
