Essex is set for another hot day as Jubilee celebrations continue into the weekend. Temperatures are expected to hit the low 20s and luckily rain is not expected all day, meaning your barbecues will be safe and sound. Clouds are expected later in the day with temperatures dropping to around 15C by 9pm.

The Met Office weather forecast for the east of England today, which includes Essex, said: “Any mist or fog rising to give another dry morning with long spells of sunshine. The sun continues in the ‘afternoon, but a little more misty in the west. Maximum temperature 20°C.’

Below we have listed the weather in the main locations in Essex for today. All forecasts were taken from the Met Office website. Updated forecasts are available from 5am each day.
